It didn’t take long for Scott Scherer to stick to the bill in Livonia, New York.
With his family, ‘Skira quickly developed a strong passion for the team, taking part in games in the nineties and watching legendary plays such as Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith.
“I started going back to games in the early 90s when I was five / six years old with my dad or uncle,” he said. “I came to the playoffs in a number of iconic bills, like the Raiders 3-5, some dolphin games [and] where I got my love. Then I was playing high school and college. I used to play basketball and lacrosse in college. So, I I never got time for a season ticket or anything. At 25, when I got out of college, I decided to start that journey. Sincerely yours was. I’ve started to get season tickets and since I got it. ”
Not only is ski all-out for the Bill Games, the team has become part of its identity. A fourth-grade teacher at Seneca Falls, New York, he made a statement to include the Bills in his own classroom. Even if he wins the bills, he doesn’t give his students any homework on Monday!
Dedicated to supporting the Bills, Skira and his friends always host a big tailgate before home games. A tradition that starts with an early drive from nearby Rochester, Skira and his crew makes the most of their trip.
“I’ve been lucky enough to have a pretty good group of friends,” she explained. “Many of my best friends from high school have moved to Buffalo. After getting started, we had a nice religious group of boys – we always parked in the lot par north of the stadium southwest … There was always a good tailgate in our lot. In the last few years, the number has decreased that we now have other responsibilities. The one who stuck with me is my good friend – his name is Scott too. We call him ‘Scoot’ and he has been with me every game for the last seven or eight years.
“… We usually leave Rochester at 7am. We’ll go to Orchard Park and park at 5 or 7pm. We usually start the grill, cook chicken or hot dog or hamburger. Stop cooking a pepper once a year with any of our friends we play … ”
Although Squirer’s groups have become smaller over the years, he is keen to preserve the conduct and share his love for Bill with his young daughter. Taking part in the Children’s Day games with her, Skierra has allowed bonding with her young lady at her favorite place – New Era Field. While he enjoys every aspect of game days, Schuyler’s favorite moments are spent quality time with his loved ones, and of course, every second of the action gets wet.
“As a diehard Bill fan, this is definitely the game [that I enjoy the most]”, “just getting into the atmosphere and being a part of it, standing up and tossing it in the third downs, that’s something I’ve always enjoyed. You know, you know, in high school and college and even then it still feels like you’re on the cusp with them. Making a difference in love … As far as being part of the twelfth and being part of the crowd, so, I enjoyed that aspect … I think we have the best fans in the league and this is truly a unique experience and I was able to participate. I’m glad. ”
To be friends with the people in his department, he was called home on Sunday for the last 11 years, making the Bill’s Games even more special for Skyrea.
“Yes, we’ve been in the same seat for 11 years now,” he said. “… here is a senior gentleman and his son who has been sitting next to us for about four or five years. Just saying hi to the guys in our section before the games, you all know saying hi to the top [great]. Some of my best friends got tickets to Row 309 and Row 38 to 309, so we made that section into our home. ”
It was at these moments that Sciara felt grateful for her membership and the memories that they had left to create her.
“The best part is just knowing that your seat is in every single game,” he said of being a member of the Bill Season Ticket. “For the last two or three years since the birth of my daughter, we have not been able to make a place in every game, but in the first eight years of my season ticket I feel I have made it to each of the preseason and home games. Knowing that you’re only a part of it … I think the players here really appreciate how passionate and intense the fans are … it’s a great thing. ”
Buffalo would like to thank Bill Scott for his many years of loyal Bill Season Ticket members and a Season Ticket Member of our game for the Coles vs. Bill Games. In addition to Scott being selected as a season ticket member of the game, he has selected a club seat upgrade, an autographed item, and the Bills business product.
